Presentation at the 2024 ASTA National Conference

Summer presents a tremendous opportunity for student musical growth. Because summer is viewed as vacation time, students and parents neglect their studies and miss out on this opportunity. In this presentation, we will discuss multiple strategies for keeping students engaged, practicing, and performing over the summer. These ideas will be useful for private studio teachers and school educators. We will focus on setting up a summer lesson program, creating special projects, building festivals, and more!
